That’s a depressing thought! Best to keep it a secret.
Don’t get too close! Bull elk [wapiti] are VERY aggressive during rutting season.
Ron, we stared at each other for perhaps a half minute and then he wandered off into the brush. There was a stretch of water between us, so I wasn’t threatened.
Did you have any trouble getting him to pose?
