Merlin’s breakfast

 

Lying in the sand is a male Mallard — at least it used to be.

Standing over it, the Merlin looks at me and says:

“If you try to take my breakfast, I will eat you, too.”

    I am getting the sense I wouldn’t want to mess with Merlin and I am feeling a sense of loss for the duck. I just wish I wasn’t eating my granola when the image arrived.
