It was a guccy cockroach -like creature,on a yellow Tansy head.
Translucent with what appeared to be large forelegs streched out towards the observer,and tiny ones for standing on the flower.

Peter and I solved the mystery: the header he was looking at was a closeup of a female crab spider (Misumena vatia) sitting on a daisy. In the picture, it looks as if it is challenging the photographer—and it was. This is the picture:
