Ron Welwood, from whom the flycatchers appropriated the space,\u00a0has sent me a picture of the chicks standing in the nest. Fifteen minutes later the chicks had fledged.<\/p>\n<p>An adult Pacific-slope Flycatcher waits impatiently for those pesky humans to leave its carport.<br \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-14280\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/psflycatcher150710as.jpg\" alt=\"\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Finally, the two chicks stood up in the nest.
