Here are the young of two hawks: Osprey and Red-tailed Hawk.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A juvenile Osprey is still in the nest, but it is learning to fly by facing into the wind and flapping its wings.<br \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14622\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/osprey150813bs.jpg\" alt=\"\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This juvenile Red-tailed Hawk still seems to be trying to make sense of its new world.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/redtailehawkJ150812ds.jpg\" alt=\"\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14631\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It lifts off.
