{"id":15472,"date":"2015-11-07T14:23:03","date_gmt":"2015-11-07T22:23:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=15472"},"modified":"2015-11-12T04:57:36","modified_gmt":"2015-11-12T12:57:36","slug":"seasonal-raptors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=15472","title":{"rendered":"Seasonal raptors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One of the interesting features of birds is how many of them change with the season.<\/p>\n<p>Merely consider two raptors: the Osprey and the Rough-legged Hawk. These two species might\u00a0well never meet. The osprey spends the summer here, but winters in Central America. The Rough-legged Hawk spends the winter here, but summers in the arctic tundra.
