I watched them in the hope that one might do something interesting. Other years, I had seen one <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=13730\">catch a bug<\/a>, two <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=13806\">mate<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=8294\">chicks<\/a> wander by (too early for that). However, these two kept their heads down as they scoured the shoreline &#8212; until, one reared up and let forth with an impressive call.
