Alas no, they all seemed to be in hiding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 2px 6px 4px 6px; margin-top: -4px; margin-left: 8px; width: 210px; float: right; clear: left; color: #555555; background-color: #eeeeee; border: #dddddd 2px solid;\">For a peek at last year&#8217;s pollinator hunters, look at my posting\u00a0<a title=\"Watching crab spiders\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=114\">Watching crab spiders<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But, I wasn\u2019t the only one out there looking around for pollinators. On one daisy, I saw my year\u2019s first crab spider. Mind you, in the absence of pollinators, it really did look as if it were prepared to challenge me for the rights to its flower.
