Their tenure is now over.<\/p>\n<p>June postings begin with two more wildflowers: another lily (Queen&#8217;s Cup), and another wild orchid (Mountain Lady&#8217;s Slipper).<\/p>\n<p>The Queen&#8217;s Cup was spread across the forest floor in the thousands.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-23624\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/queenscup180601s.jpg\" alt=\"\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is one of only six Mountain Lady&#8217;s Slippers found among the myriad of Queen&#8217;s Cups.
