The first was of the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=26531\">fairy slipper<\/a>. OK, truth be told, I did not find this orchid on my own: a small child spotted it &#8212; who told an adult &#8212; who told me. So kudos to the child. <\/p>\n<p>My first images of the striped coralroot orchid were acceptable, but because the flowers drooped on the raceme, it was difficult to look into them.\u00a0<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-26578\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/stripedcoralroot190527s2.jpg\" alt=\"\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" width=\"720\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So, I tried again, this time moving the camera lower.
