Here are four of the myriad species.<\/p>\n<p>The pearly everlasting gains its name both from its appearance, and from the ease with which it can be dried for winter bouquets.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-27012\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/pearlyeverlasting190715s.jpg\" alt=\"\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All parts of the Columbian monkshood are highly poisonous.
