Here I have grouped some recent pictures of birds that don\u2019t fit elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>What better way to start than with a merganser enjoying a breakfast of Kokanee.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2910\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/merganserfish110905.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then there is a nuthatch hanging from a branch. Everything has a yellow\u2013green glow; that is the nature of the light filtering through the leaves.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2911\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/nuthatch110908s.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of the staples of the area is ravens. Here is a pair.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2912\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/ravens110909.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Always a delight to watch is a flock of Cedar Waxwings.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2913\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/cedarwaxwings110910s.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The ever present Bald Eagle sits above a river waiting to feast on Kokanee.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2914\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/eagle110910s.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then there were some unexpected warblers.
