But, there were some other good shots, and since the beaver was only subsequently been seen fleetingly, and has now apparently gone, I will post three more shots from the 8<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The beaver places two forepaws on a plank.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-35754\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/beaver260808ds.jpg\" alt=\"\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It isn&#8217;t clear what has now caught its attention.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-35753\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/beaver260808cH.jpg\" alt=\"\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The beaver opens its mouth to reveal its yellow teeth. It isn&#8217;t easy to tell the sex of a beaver.
