The fish seemed to be circling\u00a0erratically\u00a0in the shallows&#8212;a behaviour I had never before witnessed.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5539\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/fish120617bs2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Joe Thorley of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poissonconsulting.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">Poisson Consulting<\/a>\u00a0looked at this picture and said that it is either a Brook Trout or a Rainbow Trout.
