The next generation is relentlessly demanding. Recently, I showed family pictures of <a title=\"Nuthatchery\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=5351\">White-breasted Nuthatches<\/a>, <a title=\"Eggs and protests\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=5375\">Killdeer and Robin,<\/a>\u00a0<a title=\"Canada Day loons\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=5743\">Common Loons<\/a>, <a title=\"Protective geese\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=5127\">Canada Geese<\/a>, <a title=\"Feed me\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=5906\">Bank Swallows<\/a>, <a title=\"Flicker chicks feed\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=5971\">Northern Flickers<\/a>. Today it is the Pacific-slope Flycatcher.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, I visited a <a title=\"Flycatcher family\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=2497\">flycatcher family<\/a> at the home of the Welwoods. A couple of days ago, the flycatchers were back and I visited again.<\/p>\n<p>Although the birds are called flycatchers, they don&#8217;t restrict themselves to flies.
