They looked like huge, distant, spectres in the dim light. While fog, darkness, and distance, offered me safety, they added little but mood to my images. Ah well, how often does one get to see such things?<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7968\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/grizzlies130602cs.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Apparently sated, the two cubs (seen together on the left, above) began to\u00a0frolic. &#8220;Let&#8217;s play.&#8221;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7967\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/grizzlies130602ds.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is fun.&#8221;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7965\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/grizzlies130602fs.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The fog drifted and the light faded, and they carried on.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7963\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/grizzlies130602hs.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They played for about twelve minutes.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7964\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" alt=\"grizzlies130602gs\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/grizzlies130602gs.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Finally mommy approached and (apparently) suggested it was time to leave.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7970\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/grizzlies130602as.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Disinclined to do so they started in again, until she spoke more firmly.
