I have never been able to get close to a kingfisher, and rarely to a grouse. So, it was a delight to have each of them approach me. Not that they knew that is what they were doing, but still&#8230;. I did manage some close views.<\/p>\n<p>A Ruffed Grouse lands in a tree right beside me. What could I do?
