Indeed, the sighting of a\u00a0<a title=\"Bird on a wire\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/?p=9154\">Pygmy Owl<\/a>\u00a0was actually just happenstance on the jaunt to find Mountain Goats.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that Mountain Goats are easiest to spot on a bare mountain face soon became evident: after only a few pictures, they all vanished from view in a snow storm.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9178\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/mountaingoats131129bs.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9179\" onclick=\"return false\" onmousedown=\"return false\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.kootenay-lake.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/mountaingoats131129as.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Mountain Goats are found only in the mountains of western North America and the majority of them are in British Columbia.
