My feeder has been taken over by local mobsters: Steller\u2019s Jays. I have heard Black\u2013capped Chickadees and seen Varied Thrushes and Robins in the area, but the intimidating presence at the feeder belongs to the Jays, which arrive in numbers each morning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 2px 6px 4px 6px; margin-top: -10px; width: 300px; float: right; color: #555555; background-color: #eeeeee; border: #dddddd 2px solid;\">The Kootenay-Lake Website offers more pictures and discussions of local <a href=\"http:\/\/kootenay-lake.ca\/birds\/passerines\/jays\/index.html\">Steller\u2019<span style=\"color: #444444;\">s Jays<\/span>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, what does one do in the face of this clear display of avian muscle?
