Tadpole

 

It is June and the tadpole season is upon us.

A few of the hundreds of tadpoles in the shallow, clear water of the lake.

    Fantastic. I didn’t know Tpoles were IN the lake. When I was a kid (not in The Koots) I collected almost 400, kept them in an old porcelain sink in the ground. They had nothing to eat but they still developed. When their legs sprouted, and they started climbing out of the sink, they had to go back to the river. Out of 365, there were two albinos. Tpole statistics.
