Striped Coralroot

Sometimes while searching for one thing, something better turns up. Such was the case two days ago, when the prize was a Striped Coralroot. I had last seen this wild orchid six years ago and on the other side of the Lake. Now, I know two places where they can be found.

To see the length of the flower stock, slide your cursor up or down over the picture.

Beautiful – Ive never seen one, didn’t even know such a flower existed. My guess is that despite its length it isn’t very tall?

And I want to find out how you did that, with the up & down with the cursor! Is that a Photoshop thing?

Margo, the navigation technique has nothing to do with Photoshop. That navigation is accomplished with a WordPress plugin called PhotoNav.
