We get too few glimpses of nature red in tooth and claw. Darkness at noon. I welcome and look forward to the demi-monde. A few years ago, in Auckland at the national zoo, some grade one’s in school uniform were making pictorial notes on the behavior of tigers in their terrarium. Then some feral rabbits hopped into the enclosure.
Doug, as you can now see from the next posting, it was neither tooth nor claw, but a different part of the body that was used to accost.
