Oh WOW!!! Is this near Kokanee Store & Marina? Absolutely wonderful, Alistair. I wasn’t able to get any shots this year and this has got to have been one of the best I’ve seen here in 21 yrs. Thanks.
Anne, I didn’t realize it was so obvious, but you are the second person to realize that this was on the eastern side of the old Busk estate (now Kokanee Creek Park).
How could I not Leave a reply about Leaves. The colour is the best I’ve seen all fall. Now I’m looking forward to spring.
Larry, for days during the dry spell, I thought the leaves looked insipid. Now, with the coming of the rain, they have started to look much brighter. Indeed, this picture was taken today in the rain. The wetness and flat lighting seems to work wonders on the colours.
Stunning. I was wondering, Alistair, if you ventured into the leafly photo. I, too, felt initially the leafage dull,
and feared it would all dessicate and crumble. This trend swerved overnight, it seems. Our hikers on Sat. were dazzled by the precipitous transformation.
