The otter family visited again yesterday, this time in rain and the fading light of the day. Fortunately, I saw them coming so was able to sneak nearby. This is undoubtedly the same family that last March produced my grand ogopogo moment and that stopped by again three weeks ago.
This time the otters frolicked across two docks. Six pictures are shown without comment.
Hi Alistair,
I love their expressive tails. What a treat to see these guys, thank you for sharing your wonderful pictures.
Great opportunity taken advantage of. Makes one quite jealous. Thanks for sharing anyway, the shots are terrific as are the subjects 🙂
“You otter be in pictures…!”
Captivating, charming, exquisite, touching; such sweet dignity.
Superb photos!
Those before me have expressed my thoughts exactly! What I love about your pictures is that they are not simply pictures of otters or eagles or herons, etc. They are pictures that catch the essence of the animal….to see the fur segmented because of the current swim and seeing the drops of water flying in the air from a good shake almost puts action into those pictures. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your photography. Thank you very much for sharing.
Anne.
