Now, and for a few months is the time to see muskrats, for it is now that unmated males wander about looking for a mate and a new home. Your final rather nice protrait reminds me that a muskrat has rather poor eyesight; it probably did not see you even though it is looking towards you.
Puzzled. Unsupervised but not I presume hostile takeover of the authority of this site?
