Blowing snow

Snow blowing off a pine tree reminds me of the springtime sight of pollen doing likewise.

    How intriguing to see the shape of the wind captured like this! It seems to move, at least in this case, in puffs of differing strength.

    Well put, Trevor. Alistair, I was in the woods when this was happening yesterday, trying to visually apprehend the whole phenomenon as well. Quite entrancing.
