Marmot suckles

The pups of the Yellow-bellied Marmot are now out of the burrow. 

But, they are still firmly bonded with mommy.

Here one pup suckles.

    These are lovely photos. It’s always a treat to see the local marmots. We seem to only see them when it’s sunny.
