Lizard

 

The Northern Alligator Lizard is secretive and normally found under rocks or logs. Now and then it will sun itself in the open. Maybe that is what this one was doing when I spotted it yesterday afternoon.

    cool. From that shot, it looks like a snake sprouted a pair of legs.

    Thanks Alistair, nice to have a name for them too. The American Kestrals that nested on my former yard found these delectable dinner items.
