Today — July 1st, 2017 — marks the sesquicentenary of the creation of Canada as a nation.

    I purposely made the title and (minimal) text of this posting amphibolous: Is “the charm and beauty of life in Canada” a reference to the wildlife? Or, is it to the people who are enriched by living among the wildlife? It is both.
